Who is responsible for maintaining a property pole?
 All private property poles that carry overhead mains from an Energex pole to the property, is the responsibility of the property owner. For more information, visit the Energex website here.

How do I know if my pole needs replacing?
Our technicians are qualified to carry out Energex and Ergon compliant pole inspections, to investigate the integrity of your property pole. Look out for the following signs:
- Pole is leaning excessively 
- Obvious signs of termite damage, rot or splitting at ground level and below
- Damaged, loose or exposed cabling
- Loose, splitting or sagging crossarms

How long does it take to install a pole?
A straightforward installation, with assumed soil conditions, can take just 1 hour.

What size pole do I need?
There are a few factors to consider when deciding what size pole is required for the job. We supply various pole lengths from 8 metres to 26 metres. If you are unsure and need assistance, please contact us.

What is involved in a pole installation?
Our truck will arrive on site, bore a hole to required depth, install a pole cap and eyebolt onto the pole. We will then install the pole. Then using a hydraulic tamper we will pack natural soil around the pole and ensure the area is left tidy.
